Didn't lose any data, probably. At least not much. The computer has been having wtf issues for a little while so I'd been backing up the important stuff fairly regularly. I'm mostly annoyed because ooooh do I ever hate writing by hand. It's slow and inefficient and I usually forget the sentence before I've managed to scribble it all out. Wah wah wah.

Besides which, the way in which my pet and electronics names pan out is starting to get creepy.

Other than that and (health thing that is annoying but only a problem in that I am seriously pissy, wah) things are pretty cool. I wish people would stop being so damn cheerful, but this is apparently a human emotion that other people show when they are having a good time, so I will try not to hold it against them.

Have seen an ass-ton of whales. (Which is kind of like several pods, flopping out of the water.) That was pretty awesome. Also, whales are kind of huge. It is a little alarming when they are very close and also about the same size as the boat you are on.
